The night crawlers have made a return! That’s right, the beloved Jokersters of Monsters, Inc. graced the cinema screens once more this July. While not much has changed, the backdrop of the University still holds a special place in the hearts of many.
The allure of Monstropolis is undeniable, and it has swiftly convinced parents that it’s the ideal theme for their child’s birthday. With its whimsical and somewhat similar vibe to Halloween, this month is the perfect time to host a spook-tacular Monster Inc. University-themed birthday celebration. I’ve combined a medley of vibrant hand-drawn graphics with adorable text, directly inspired by the original movie. The inspiration struck me a couple of days ago, right after putting my little one to bed. I embarked on designing the invitation with a colorful background and a text divider crafted from dash-lines.
Once the groundwork was complete, I composed the text using stylish and colorful chalkboard-inspired fonts, seamlessly incorporating beloved cartoon characters like Mike Wazowski, James P. Sullivan, Squishy, Johny Worthington, Terry, and many others.
